The world continues to get new developments about Tupac Shakur’s death every few months to years it seems.
In an interview with People, Suge Knight, whose real name is Marion Knight, spoke to the publication and shared shocking details about friends of the late rapper cremating his ashes and smoking them in a blunt.
“A bag with his ashes was passed around,” he began, recalling the event on a phone call.
“His homies rolled him up. They smoked him. you gotta understand, that’s what made sense. It was symbolic. It’s like… you keep part of him.”
The former businessman admits while this occurred, he did not partake.
“I was so happy to say I was on probation — I couldn’t smoke,” he said on the phone call.
“I told his mother, ‘Moms, I’d love to, but if I hit that, I’ll get in trouble. I was probably the only one who didn’t hit him.”
Knight then recalled the frightening night of Shakur’s death, detailing the aftermath of the shooting and how he tried to explain to the police officers what occurred.
“I got out and tried to tell the officers what happened while I was bleeding everywhere,” he shared.
“I then was getting Tupac out the car, even when the door was open. I had to go over there bleeding everywhere, take the seat belt off him.”
