Marcus Jordan Reaches Six-Month Sobriety Milestone After DUI Arrest
Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, is celebrating a new milestone in his life.
In an Instagram post, Marcus shared that he’s 6 months sober and “still the life of the party,” as evidenced by the first photo, which features him with a friend.
The carousel features photos of what appears to be the past six months of his life, including images of his father at various social gatherings and while traveling to different places.
Complex previously reported that Marcus was arrested in February and charged with DUI involving property damage, cocaine possession, and resisting an officer following a traffic stop initiated by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
He was booked into the Orange County Jail on Tuesday morning.
The former college basketball player was once linked to Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, with the two calling it quits in 2024.
Charles Barkley commented on the split during his interview with Shannon Sharpe on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast last year, expressing how he “feels bad” for both Michael and Scottie, calling the relationship “messy.”
“I don't like messy because when it's messy, everybody has an opinion on it,” Barkley told Sharpe.
“And the internet isn't a place for messy. And you have to understand, it's a lot of kids involved. And people are mean. And it's unfortunate.”
"There are no winners. There's only losers," Barkley said. "Michael and Scottie's relationship will never be the same."
