There are several New Orleans staples that everyone has heard of. There's Cafe du Monde. There's Dooky Chase's. There's Lil Dizzy's Cafe. And while a visit to NOLA isn't complete without stopping at one of those local hot spots, there are several other bars and restaurants that deserve some shine, too.
Here are just a few Black-owned places that have piqued our interest on social media.

Now this is the type of sausage biscuit you can really get down with. Check out DBLBLK Cafe on 247 S. Robertson Street.

Look at that plate full of love at The Praline Connection at 542 Frenchmen Street.

Pralines are a New Orleans staple, so stop by Loretta's Authentic Pralines for these sweet sensations. The dessert counter is located at 1100 N. Peters Street in the French Market. 

Chicken and waffles in the form of a hot dog? How perfect is this grab-and-go meal from the Diva Dawg Truck?

Stop by Krewe du Brewe for your favorite iced coffee or cup of tea on 1610 St. Charles Avenue.

See where this food truck is rollin' to next with its nachos and sandwiches with all the fixings you could ask for. 

Dreamy Weenies serves up hot dogs and sausage links loaded up with your favorite toppings. #Nom. Check them out at 740 N. Rampart Street.

Ma Momma's House serves up your favorite Southern staples, including shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. Check them out at 5741 Crowder Blvd.

Need some creative cocktails? Head to 339 Baronne Street and visit Victory Bar, founded by Daniel Victory.

For a little fun, head to Fulton Alley, a local bowling alley at 600 Fulton Street.
