Someone Made A Disney-Themed Parody Of ‘WAP’ And The Internet Doesn’t Know How To React
It’s been a month since Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion released their record-breaking collaboration “WAP,” and the mega-hit has continued to remain a ubiquitous presence on the charts. Not only that but “WAP” has become pop culture itself and undoubtedly one of the biggest tracks of 2020.
Just when you think you’d seen every possible reimagination of “WAP,” there’s now a Disney-themed parody. It was published on Saturday (Sept. 26) to the YouTube channel titled Irie Musick Studios. The three minute and 16 second video is a compilation of clips from beloved Disney classics such as The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Fantasia and Mulan spliced together and synced up with every bar in the song.
Naturally, it didn’t take for the video to make its way around the internet, and there were a myriad of reactions online. To be clear, the video is not an official Disney creation.
This comes amid a TMZ report that Cardi B recently filed to trademark “WAP” to use for clothing, headwear, footwear, athletic bags, purses, and jewelry. The outlet further reported that trademarks have also been filed for alcoholic beverages, sports drinks, soft drinks, fruit juices, mineral water, and more.
