Watch SZA Refuse to Answer When Keke Palmer Asks Her About Kissing Drake

The singer-songwriter tried her hardest to ignore her ‘One of Them Days’ costar.

Keke Palmer made SZA squirm when inquiring about the kissing habits of her past beau, Drake.

The “One of Them Days” costars sat down with the film’s executive producer, Issa Rae, for a special edition of “Hot Ones,” and six minutes into the video below, Palmer pulled a “dealer’s choice” card, meaning she gets to ask the table anything she wants.

After asking Rae if she’d date an ex who’d had a baby after temporarily breaking up with her, similar to her “Insecure” storyline, the married actress doubted that she would. Palmer then turned her attention to SZA, abruptly asking her if Drake was “a good kisser.”

“That's why I said, ‘F**k you in advance,’” SZA joked.

As Rae and Palmer noticed that the “LANA” singer-songwriter was avoiding the question, Palmer suggested that Drizzy “must have been terrible.” But directly answering could’ve been a conflict of interest, as SZA is a frequent collaborator of the rapper’s rival, Kendrick Lamar, who she’ll tour with beginning in April.

Before claiming that she and Drake were "children" when they shared a kiss, SZA started eating the spicy chicken wing and was persistent in declining to answer. "We were kids in 2009," she said. “Real s**t.”

In 2023, SZA, who worked with Drake on songs like "Rich Baby Daddy" and "Slime You Out," spoke about their quick fling in an interview with “Rolling Stone.” "[We] were really young," she told Rolling Stone. "It wasn't hot and heavy or anything. It was like youth vibes. It was so childish."

Three years before, Drake referenced SZA on the 21 Savage and Metro Boomin collaboration “Mr. Right Now,” where he claimed to have dated the singer in 2008.
