Tyra Banks Will Teach Class at Stanford University

The supermodel will lecture graduate students on building their personal brand and smizing.

Next spring, graduate students at Stanford University will have the opportunity to get schooled by a supermodel.

Tyra Banks will be teaching a course for M.B.A students on how to brand themselves with a focus on social media and communication.

According to Fashionista"Project You: Building and Extending your Personal Brand" is run by management professor and former producer Allison Kluger, who asked Banks to sign on as a co-lecturer after seeing the supermodel speak at an event for the university's Stanford Women in Business organization. By the end of the semester, 25 business grad students will have created their own personal brand, learn how to master on-air appearances and how to use Twitter, Snapchat and Facebook to market themselves and their businesses.

This new teaching gig shouldn’t come as a big surprise, given that Banks is not new to higher education. In 2012, the reality show host got a certificate from the Harvard Business School's owner/president management program.

And since she really is an expert, smizing should be included in the syllabus. Just saying.
