Drake Hands Out Stacks of Cash to Toronto Residents for Christmas

The ‘6 God’ was in great spirits over the holidays.

It appears that the 6 God was in a festive and giving mood this holiday season.

A video recently hit the web showing the Certified Lover Boy giving out racks of cash to his fellow Toronto countrymen on Christmas Day. As reported by Complex, Drake can be seen sitting in the backseat of a Maybach, as he hands over a bunch of crispy Canadian 20 dollar bills.

While it is unclear exactly how much money they received, it goes without saying that the formerly Grammy-nominated artist was following up on “God’s Plan.”

“@Champagnepapi giving away racks for Christmas,” the video was captioned. “Life’s fu**ing unreal man. Legend of the city.”

The woman can be heard saying, “Oh my god, this is crazy,” while the man says, “Thank you, bro. I appreciate it guys, take care.” Drake can also be heard saying, “You already know.”

With the holidays and going into the new year, Drake’s Instagram served as a window into the OVO co-founder’s giving spirit. On Saturday, Dec. 25, he shared a video of him playing with his son, Adonis, who was climbing all over his famous father. “I’m gonna get up, I’m gonna out of this,” Drake said while laughing. “Merry Christmas From The Gang,” he captioned the video.

Fatherhood was an introspective throughline on his recent album, saying, “I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son,” in a 2020 interview with Lil Wayne for Young Money Radio. “I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket… I just wanted to free myself of that,” he continued.
