Draymond Green Says Leave Jalen and Draya Alone: That Ain’t None of Y’all Business

The Warriors star calls out the public and media for crossing the line with criticism of Green and Draya relationship during the 2025 Playoffs.

Draymond Green is making it clear that he’s not here for the public controversy aimed at Jalen Green and Draya Michele’s relationship. While the internet has picked apart the Houston Rockets guard’s personal life, the Golden State Warriors forward is drawing a hard line when it comes to what should be off-limits.

On an episode of "The Pivot" podcast, Draymond addressed the criticism  Jalen and Draya have faced since going public, especially during the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Draymond didn’t mince words when laying out his boundaries.

“I don’t do the woman thing. I ain’t gonna talk about your lady,” he said. “That’s where I draw the line. It’s about the only line I draw... I ain’t gonna talk about your lady and I ain’t gonna talk about your kids. Those two to me, they off limits. If you start talking about somebody’s lady, I don’t respect that.”

He pointed to the conversations surrounding Jalen and Draya as an example of the kind of disrespect he refuses to normalize.

“Jalen Green, everybody had their opinions on him. That’s one of the things that really pissed me off in that series,” he said. “Everybody talking about him and his woman. That ain’t none of y’all business. Get out that man’s business. I’m publicly defending him like, ‘Y’all stop.’ That’s wack to me. I don’t rock with that. That’s where I cross the line.”

Jalen and Draya confirmed their relationship in August 2023. The couple drew headlines for their 17-year age gap, and public reactions escalated when they announced in March 2024 that they were expecting a child.

In June, they addressed the backlash directly. “I don’t know what people’s problem is,” Draya told TMZ. “Two adults being in love, I don’t know why that would rub people the wrong way. It’s kind of weird. Love is love at the end of the day.”
