Kylie Jenner is releasing new shades of her famous Lipkits tomorrow, but in a failed attempt to appeal to her fans with darker complexions, she did her best friend Justine Skye seriously dirty.

A promotional image of the new, nude-themed collection was posted online yesterday featuring Kylie's girl gang of BFFs, including Justine, Jordyn Woods and others. Unfortunately, what stood out from the image was Justine rocking a very unflattering shade of peach.

The image, which has since been taken down from her social media pages, features Kylie and her pals modeling one of her new trio of colors, called "Dirty Peach." Clearly, one shade doesn't fit all and, luckily, a screenshot lives forever:

It looks like the comments on the original photo got through to Kylie (or whomever runs her brand), and she quickly added a second image with a far more flattering shade called "Love Bite."

She, of course, acted like this was the plan all along. "I finally achieved the perfect nude for darker skin tones. I love this shade," she captioned a solo pic of Justine (looking positively stunning, we must say) in a third shade called "Brown Sugar":

Twitter, naturally, sees right through it. They wasted no time calling Kylie out for the original gaffe. Though it seems like we can all agree that she corrected the matter with the second set of shades, many are still not willing to buy in:

Controversy or not, the new Kylie Lipkits are bound to sell out as quickly as the last round, so if you are willing to take the chance, start lining up now. The new collection goes on sale Friday, August 26 at noon PST.
