Missy Elliott was ahead of her time, adding young dancing talent in her music videos before it became trendy. Most notable, Alyson Stoner, the young dance prodigy from the femcee's "Work It," "Gossip Folks" and "I'm Really Hot" music videos, caught the eye of Missy and music fans alike more than 10 years ago, and now she's resurfacing to show her appreciation for her former boss.

The now 21-year-old dancer posted a three-minute video to YouTube paying homage to Elliott on Feb. 12. The energetic clip amassed more than three million views in just 24 hours, proving that the young star was surely missed.

Supported by a troop of other young hip hop dancers, Stoner, dressed in a red Adidas tracksuit — a la Missy — worked it to all of the hits that she was featured in alongside the 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer throughout the years.

After seeing the video, Missy took to Twitter to gush about her former protégé, saying, "@AlysonOnTour was the lil girl in my "work it" Gossipfolks video they grown up! MissyElliott Tribute."

Though Alyson Stoner hasn't been seen much since her younger dancing days, she has since appeared on Disney's That's So Raven and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
