Drake Declares Himself ‘Very Much Alive’ At Australia Concert

The concert was held two days after Kendrick Lamar won five Grammys for “Not Like Us.”

Drake had no worries on the opening night of his Anita Max Win Tour in Australia on Tuesday, February 4.

Champagne Papi kicked off his 16-date Australian trek in Perth that evening, concluding with a resounding message that seemingly referenced his beef with Kendrick Lamar.

“I come all the way from Toronto, Canada. The year is now 2025, and no matter what, Drizzy Drake is very much alive, and that’s all thanks to you. I love you,” Drake said in the video below.

Elsewhere during the concert, the 5-time Grammy winner dramatically entered the stage wearing a black hoodie designed with false bullet holes and emitting smoke.

The moment came just two days after Kendrick won five Grammys for his chart-topping Drake diss track “Not Like Us,” including Song of the Year and Record of the Year. The 2024 single was the nail in the coffin on the Drake-Kendrick feud and even caused the OVO Sound co-founder to file a lawsuit against Universal Music Group for defamation and harassment.

But with 15 more dates to go on his current tour, Drake has announced a Valentine’s Day release of his upcoming joint album with PartyNextDoor, titled “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U.”
