Cardi B Labeled Battery Suspect After Tossing Microphone at Unruly Fan

It’s unclear who reported the Bronx native.

Cardi B. is considered a possible suspect in a battery incident following her recent performance in Las Vegas over the weekend.

According to TMZ, an unidentified woman reported the “WAP” emcee to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department on Sunday, July 30, after allegedly being struck by the mic during a heated moment involving Cardi.

The incident unfolded when video footage captured the Bronx native tossing her microphone at an unruly fan who allegedly threw an unidentified liquid at her while she was on stage.

As the story goes, Cardi and her DJ encouraged fans to splash the Grammy Award winner with water to keep her cool during the harsh weather. However, Cardi seemed very upset after being hit with the unknown substance and quickly retaliated by throwing the mic.

The microphone ultimately struck the person who tossed the drink, but it ricocheted and accidentally hit another woman nearby. Presently, it remains unclear which of the women reported the incident.  

The matter is now under investigation, and further developments are yet to be revealed.
