Riff Raff was arrested in North Carolina for drug possession early Sunday (Aug. 11), reports TMZ. Police approached the Houston native — born Jody Christian — over his bizarre behavior, only to find incriminating evidence inside his vehicle.

He reportedly stopped and started talking to random pedestrians at around 2:30 a.m. Cops were tipped off by the act and approached Riff Raff and noticed an open container of alcohol in his car. A more extensive search uncovered weed, a "powerful" narcotic, and drug paraphernalia. 

Authorities say the former MTV reality star was "not aggressive and polite," as he was handcuffed and put in the backseat of a squad car, all of which was captured on camera. 

Riff Raff, 27, and his two passengers were carted off to jail then booked and released without bail.
