Report: Justin Bieber Threatens Lawsuit After Coachella Altercation

Singer allegedly placed in a chokehold by security, kicked out of music festival.

The first weekend of the Coachella Vellay Music Festival didn’t exactly end well for Justin Bieber. According to TMZ, Bieber is considering legal action after he was placed in a chokehold by security, and kicked out of the festival during Drake’s headlining performance Sunday.

The Biebs was attempting to enter a section zoned off for artists, and he wasn’t allowed in because it was over capacity. Though he was told to leave, Bieber had the proper wristbands, and reminded security that he’d get mobbed by fans if he wasn’t let into the VIP area.

As all of this was going on, Drizzy was on stage performing “Marvin’s Room." Bieber, meanwhile, told security that he was personally invited by the Toronto rapper, and his conniving almost worked. A Coachella employee was escorting him back to the artists' section just as a security guard came up from behind and put him in the chokehold. This of course started a clash between Coachella security and the pop star’s entourage.

While the 21-year-old and crew were reportedly told to leave, a source claims the singer left voluntarily.

A rep for Bieber declined comment.
