Vivica A. Fox came to the defense of Megan Thee Stallion on Fox Soul’s Cocktails with Queens after Joe Budden’s negative comments of the Houston rapper rubbed her the wrong way.
During the Tuesday (Dec. 20) episode of the show, Fox had a message that she wanted to send to Budden.
“Joe Budden if you don’t button it up and sit yo b**** ass down hatin’ on that girl! Y’all made cuz the girls right now is ruling rap,” Fox said. “It’s just driving y’all crazy that the sistas are just rulin’ and taking numbers and can tell y’all about y’all’s selves [and] look sexy with it. It’s a new day.”
“If you wanted some attention, to be honest with you, I think that’s the wrong one to try and get it from. It’s really coming out, [the facts] are finally coming out,” she added, speaking about the trial against Tory Lanez, who allegedly shot Megan in the foot back in 2020 at a party in Hollywood Hills.
In case you missed it, Budden was doing his recap of the Tory Lanez trial on the Joe Budden Podcast and claimed that he had witnessed the Traumazine artist do horrible things to people close to him.
Lanez is charged with three felony counts, including assault with a firearm causing great bodily injury, concealing a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 22 years and eight months in prison and possible deportation.
