After a three-year absence, it appears that the TV series DL Chronicles, which explored the double sexual lives of African-American men, will soon be back on a TV or computer near you.

Following a successful first season, the GLAAD Media Award-winning series disappeared from the Here! channel. Show creators Deondray Gossett and Quincy LeNear were greenlit to produce a season two, but the shooting start date was indefinitely postponed and the pair eventually lost communication with their series' network.

Now, pumped up by an all-new fanbase for the DL Chronicles via DVD, online-streaming video and armed with the legal rights to their series, Gossett and LeNear plan to produce the series independently in 2012.

But they need help from audiences to make those plans a reality. The pair have launched a funding campaign for their fanbase to contribute to before December 30.

In a statement LeNear said, “We only have two weeks left and part of that falls during the Christmas Holidays; however, we are remaining hopeful that the community and supporters will help make this happen. It’s Christmas and hopefully Santa knows we’ve been good.”
