As if it wasn’t already obvious that Blue Ivy’s gene pool is rich with melanin and monetary inheritance, her musical mega-songstress mother, Beyoncé, shared a reminder of that for her Instagram followers on Thursday (January 24).

One BeyHiver compared a photo of a 7-year-old Queen Bey beside the currently 7-year-old Princess Blue, showcasing the stark similarities in their gorgeous facial appearances and even their beautifully thick tresses. “Someone made this comparison of me at age 7 and Blue at age 7,” Bey wrote in the caption. “My baby is growing up.”  

Instagrammers everywhere swooned at the adorable match up, singing praises to every flawless feature of the Carter mommy-and-me pair. The same thing went down on the Twitterverse—but only after they regained consciousness from fainting at Bey’s first-ever personalized caption that could be setting the bar for more in 2019.
