First talked about in an interview with Rolling Stone, Eve shared why she chose to share that part of her life early in her career.
“I didn’t let it define me because I was the first person to put it out,” she shared with Nessa. “I put it in that story on purpose because I didn’t need nobody coming from the f****g bushes being like, 'Yo, I used to see you in the club.'"
Eve also shared a word from Mase, who she met stripping, that may have changed the trajectory of her life, “If you really want to be serious about what you’re doing, this is not where you’re supposed to be.”
