Eddie Griffin Goes on Homophobic Facebook Rant

The comedian very poorly defends his right to fight off an attacking fan.

Eddie Griffin crossed the line when describing his right to fight back against an unhappy audience member at one of his concerts.

TMZ reported and posted a video showing how the comedian was involved in the altercation at his Pleasanton, California, show this past weekend. A female audience member threw a drink at him in response to a joke she found offensive. The Undercover Brother star retaliated not only by pouring his water on the woman, but he also threw his water bottle at her.

Griffin misunderstood TMZ’s reporting of the incident and took to his Facebook page, threatened to sue the entertainment outlet and let off a homophobic rant in the process.

“These TMZ bitches said I assaulted a ‘WOMAN’ at my show in cali,” Griffin said in a statement. “I don’t know what kind of eyes these m************ got but that dyke b**** threw a glass of whatever she was drinking in my face. All over a joke about dyke b******!”

He continued, “Now TMZ be careful with your choice of words, I didn’t ASSAULT a goddamn thing! If I had a n****** would be locked the f*** up. As usual, media doing sensationalism instead of journalism.”

And Griffin concluded with this sentiment to TMZ, “Y’all better retract your story before I sue y’all b**** a**** for defirmation(sic) of character!...or…rather what you really do… character assassination!!! You parasitic m************!!..TMZ these nuts b****!!!”

Maybe Eddie should have just let the videotape speak for itself. is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
