Kodak Black’s Valentine’s Day Poem For Zendaya Has The Internet Screaming

“P.S. don’t make me beat Spider-Man up…”

Love is in the air for the annual love season of Valentine’s Day this Friday (Feb. 14).

  • Emboldened by Cupid’s arrow, Kodak Black shook up the Twitterverse early Friday morning (Feb. 14).  Even though he’s currently locked up behind bars, the Florida-bred rap star made it known that a certain someone has been occupying his thoughts as of late and took the chance to shoot his shot on Cupid’s Day. In a poem he wrote published to his official Instagram page, Kodak claimed singer-actress Zendaya as his official Valentine.

“Zoolin in an ice box, frozen in time. But mentally, you’re my Valentine. Hope I made you smile with this poem. I’m thinking ‘bout you all the way home.” his letter read, with Zendaya’s IG account tagged in the post’s caption for good measure. He finished the note with a message for her Spider Man: Far From Home co-star, Tom Holland, whom Zendaya was previously romantically linked to, fending him off from her as well.

  • The letter comes after Kodak unceremoniously dropped a new single, “Because Of You,” for Valentine’s Day where he raps about pining for a woman. Zendaya wasn’t specifically mentioned on the track, however.

  • Thus far, Z has not responded to his affections. Not to mention, she could be occupied this Valentine’s Day anyway after being romantically linked to her Euphoria co-star, Jacob Elordi. The likelier chance is that the public won’t be getting a response from her, but her fans have their own words for the “Tunnel Vision” rapper, nonetheless.

“Kodak Black trying to shoot his shot...pls stay away from Zendaya,” one person tweeted. Another reshared a poem Z wrote on Twitter two years ago. It read: “Roses are red, violets are blue, leave me alone.”
