Did Stacey Dash Just Disrespect Harriet Tubman?
We are all celebrating Harriet Tubman replacing Andrew Jackson on the twenty dollar bill, but Stacey Dash posted an awkward statement on her Twitter. See below:
Stacey add in her blog post, "I, for one, am thrilled at this news," but for Stacey to minimize Harriet as a gun-toting Black woman is problematic. Harriet Tubman is an icon of freedom and represents the lengths African-Americans fought to be equal, and we all know how Stacey feels about African-American history.
Even people in her mentions clapped back; one user said, @SagDiva1 "oh you know about Black History? K then."
Do you think Dash's tweet was offensive?
