David Banner is a great businessman, but there’s a certain group of people he refuses to break bread with. 

During an interview with Shannon Sharpe on his podcast, “Club Shay Shay,” Banner recounts a conversation with a mentor and he shares a piece of advice that’s been with him to this day. 

“He said I don’t do business with men who cheat on their wives,” he told Sharpe. 

“I said huh? He told me if the person that you sleep with can’t trust you, I damn sure can’t. And I never thought about that.” 

His comments sparked commentary in the comments, with one user named Cierra.Ceo saying “This is long money talk. Successful people value peace and stability because it leads to more success in several different areas of life. It’s strict at the top because there is a lot to lose.”

One user championed his commentary, writing “I wish more people would flex about integrity!”

The rapper sparked another interesting conversation on the platform, letting Sharpe know his beliefs and how he doesn’t believe in the devil. 

“I don’t believe in the devil,” he began. 

“Ain’t no f**king devil, you the devil. The reason why they give you something exterior is so you’ll never fix you. If you keep blaming it on the devil, you won’t fix your Black a**. You the problem. Go fix you.
