Onyeka Ehie Says Her Marriage Was a 'Danish Deception' and TikTok Is Locked In
The Bachelor alum Onyeka Ehie is speaking out about her relationship with her ex, Martin Fredsgaard Andersen, and the details she’s sharing on TikTok are heavy. In a video posted Friday, November 21, she said, “I made the grave mistake of marrying a professional, international criminal con artist.” Ehie, 31, added, “Lesson No. 1: Don’t be too trusting. Trust should be earned and not given out like free samples.”
Fans first met Onyeka on Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor” and on “Bachelor in Paradise.” She later met Andersen in 2022. They got engaged in April 2024, and by fall, she confirmed the relationship was over. “I have canceled the weddings and Martin and I are no longer together,” she wrote in a September TikTok post. “I’m healing a little more every day.”
Nearly two months later, she started sharing her story in a now-viral TikTok series called “The Danish Deception.” In the first video, she explained how they met during her 2022 trip to Croatia. “We’re minding our business, sipping mojitos, when I look up and see this very attractive man,” she said. “The first thing I thought was, ‘This man looks like he’s walking straight out of a Calvin Klein ad.’”
Andersen approached her, bought her a drink, and they exchanged Instagrams. They saw each other again that night. Days later, she said he invited her to Ibiza. She declined but claimed he kept pursuing her and eventually invited her on a comped trip to Monaco. She accepted, and they continued seeing each other through Christmas.
In another video, The Bachelor star said Andersen’s best friend told her he had a gambling addiction. She confronted Martin, and according to her, he said it was in his past, which triggered her because she had lent him money.
By the end of her series, she claimed she paid for most trips and believes he owes money to her family. In one emotional video, she said, “My little sister is my world, and to know he took advantage of her was just so heartbreaking.”
Martin Fredsgaard Andersen has not addressed any of these claims at this time.
