Michael Jackson’s Nephew Responds To Harry Styles Being Named The ‘New King Of Pop’

“Decades of dedication and sacrifice. The title has been retired,” Taj Jackson wrote on Twitter.

Michael Jackson’s nephew, Taj Jackson, is responding to the viral news of singer Harry Styles being named the new “King of Pop” amid the soft release of Rolling Stone UK’s October/November issue.

In case you missed it, the British version of the music magazine unveiled Styles as their upcoming cover star in the coming months on Monday (Aug. 22) which quickly upset several social media users including Taj.

“There is no new King of Pop. You don’t own the title @RollingStone, and you didn’t earn it, my uncle did,” the 49-year-old said on Twitter. “Decades of dedication and sacrifice. The title has been retired. No disrespect to @Harry_Styles, he’s mega talented. Give him his own unique title.”
