Here's Why Tracee Ellis Ross Packs Only Two Pairs of Undergarments When Traveling

When you make your destination a runway, who needs underwear!

Tracee Ellis Ross, fashion guru, entrepreneur of Pattern elixirs that keep our coils bouncy, comedian extraordinaire, and solo travel enthusiast, often packs only two pairs of underwear, according to People.

Ross famously gave us three fire looks in one day during a New York trip where she visited "Good Morning America," attended the "Black Mirror" screening, and made an appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers"--talk about a do-it-all-in-one-day, efficient travel Queen.

With each fit expertly curated, no notes, never too much, this fashionista and travel expert reportedly only has room for two pairs of underwear for her travel excursions.

According to People, during a sit-down interview at Travel + Leisure's annual World’s Best Summit on July 15, Ross shared, “There’s always one bathing suit, a flip flop and one little dress I can roll up. And there’s always two undies.”

How does the “black-ish” star accomplish this feat? Ross explained that she typically will use hotel sinks and shower gel to hand wash her under garments.

The travel guru, who is launching a new travel show called Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross (premiering on Roku July 25), went on to explain, “If I’m gone for a month on this trip, you can’t pack a month's worth of underwear,” Ross said.  “How do you do that? They take up a lot of space.”

When asked about what it takes to travel solo Ross shared this gem, “Start by going to dinner by yourself on a Friday night. See if you can do that. And you might not be a person who can do that."

"You might say, 'I’m not doing that ever again.' Then you’re not somebody who can go on vacation by yourself."

Hosting and executive producing, Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross, Ross had this to share with viewers, “I hope this show reminds all of us that we can live our lives courageously on our own terms and be our best selves, by ourselves, out in the world.”
