Shannon Sharpe Issues Apology to Megan Thee Stallion for Controversial Podcast Remarks

During a recent episode, the former athlete made sexually vulgar comments about the rapper.

Megan Thee Stallion fans are upset with Shannon Sharpe as they believe the former NFL star's recent admiration for the Houston Hottie may have been overly sexual.

During the Nov. 28th episode of “Nightcap” with co-host Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, the 55-year-old sports analyst delved into explicit descriptions of what he envisioned doing with the “Cobra” emcee.

“I’d have her stretched out like quarter to three,” Sharpe said. “I do it three ways, Ocho: deep, hard, and continuously… I’d have her opening up like saloon doors.”

Sharpe faced swift backlash, with some online critics accusing the former athlete of verging on sexual harassment. They urged the co-hosts to be more considerate, particularly in light of recent sexual assault cases involving several figures in the music industry.

In response to the situation, Sharpe released another video addressing the controversy. He explained that his comments about Megan were made "in jest" and defended his unfiltered approach on the podcast.

“I’ll tell you what. If Meg had any problem with anything that I’ve said, let me take the time to say I’m sorry, I apologize,” Sharpe added before Ocho interrupted with, “And we love you.”

Megan has not yet responded.
