Ice Spice And Regina Hall Set To Appear In The Upcoming ‘SpongeBob SquarePants Film’
The “SpongeBob SquarePants” universe is getting some fresh characters added.
The franchise’s latest film, “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,” has tapped Regina Hall and Ice Spice as the latest additions to its ensemble cast.
The newest additions to the cast also includes Sherry Cola, Arturo Castro, and George Lopez with Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) and Mark Hamill (Flying Dutchman) returning to the Bikini Bottom.
Ice Spice is not only lending her voice as a voiceover character, but she’s also providing a record to add to the film’s soundtrack.
The film follows SpongeBob and his crew as they head into the depths of the ocean to face off against the Flying Dutchman.
No word on the characters Hall and Spice will play as of yet.
Ice Spice is continuing to expand her brand as she recently signed a deal with Revlon to create her own signature scent.
“We are delighted to embark on this exciting new chapter with viral sensation and powerhouse talent, Ice Spice,” said Michelle Peluso, CEO of Revlon in a press release.
“She is bold and innovative, just like Revlon, making this a perfect match. This deal also marks a major step in the revitalization of Revlon’s fragrance business and for the company’s ambitious growth plans. Transforming our fragrance business with groundbreaking deals like this not only strengthens our portfolio but also allows us to reach new audiences. I can’t wait to see what we create together.”
The scent is set to be released in 2026.
While we wait for her scent to drop, you can expect the upcoming “SpongeBob SquarePants” film to be released in December.
