Will Smith has made it a point to always support his kids and their artistic expressions, no matter how against the norm they may be, but recently, he admitted that he wasn't initially on board with his son Jaden's love of skirts.

"He is completely comfortable and confident in who he is and when I look at him, I really admire that," he told News.Au. "Jaden has his own clothing line and then he started wearing a skirt. Then I was like, 'OK. You cannot wear a skirt.'"

When Jaden tried to convince him that it would become the next hottest trend in men's fashion, Will said he still wasn't sold. "He said to me, 'Dad, it's fine. It's going to be so hot all the kids will be wearing it.' I said, 'No, the kids are not going to do it because their parents will have sense enough to not let them do it,'" he said. "But he's confident in who he is and who he wants to be."

The Concussion star said that he admires his son's fearlessness and security in who he is — so much so that it's actually terrifying to witness, as a parent.
