Black Twitter Reacts To Pusha T’s ‘It’s Almost Dry’ Preview

Early hype for the rapper’s fourth album is its own trending topic.

After five long years, rap is feeling uber-competitive again.

On Monday afternoon, your favorite content connoisseur played Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry for its 11th time. The highly-anticipated fourth album, which follows DAYTONA, has been on timelines stirring up commentary and fervor. Readied for release on Friday, Apr. 22, the album is pure audio dope at its finest with 12 songs of King Push’s best cinematic lines and cadences.

Also revealed Tuesday, the Virginia native shared the album cover, boasting art from Sterling Ruby, and the official tracklist (which just a couple of hours earlier was the subject of a Kid Cudi and Ye headline) and its featured guests. Produced by Pharrell Williams and Kanye West, the singles “Neck & Wrist” and “Diet Coke” preceded its forthcoming distribution on the streaming services, only to make appearances by Don Toliver, Lil Uzi Vert, Labrinth, and his brother, No Malice that much more adrenaline-inducing.

With no spoilers to share and the scene set, It’s Almost Dry, marks Pusha’s final offering for Def Jam, and is shaping up to be a rap superhero movie for the ages.
