DMX’s five-year-old son Exodus Simmons is fighting kidney disease, according to his mother Desiree Lindstrom.

Last week, Lindstrom appeared on the It’s Tricky podcast and opened up about her son’s condition, “Exodus is stable. He still has stage 3 kidney disease, and I continue to keep his potassium down. He goes to the doctor very often.”

Additionally, on March 10, which is World Kidney Day, Lindstrom wrote on Instagram,  “Blessings from our family to yours! Exodus is a CKD Warrior and an amazing child! Thanks for all the love and support from @NationalkidneyFoundation.”
