Shonda Rhimes And The 'Grey's Anatomy' Cast Just Clapped Back At Donald Trump

The show is celebrating their 300th episode.

Several celebs have come forward in support of Colin Kaepernick and the NFL players' protest of racial injustice after President Donald Trump's verbally unpresidential outburst.

The latest to "take a knee" for the culture is Shonda Rhimes, who was joined by her Grey's Anatomy cast in standing up for solidarity of racial justice in America and dismissing Trump, who thinks anyone who takes a knee during the national anthem should be fired.

The celebrated showrunner took to Instagram on the day of the series' 300th episode to post the photo of her kneeling alongside Jesse Williams, Debbie Allen, Ellen Pompeo and more, supported by a caption detailing why they chose to lend their support.

Pompeo, the face of Grey's, posted the same photo to her own Instagram account, extending a bit on the caption, adding, "We kneel because we are supposed to be one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. #ilovethesepeople #300thepisode."

Dating back to Saturday, Rhimes also spoke on the widespread protest, sharing her thoughts on why the now controversial kneel is an act that she wholeheartedly supports.
