Big Boi’s Pet Owl Has Social Media Going Crazy
It’s been over 15 years since OutKast released an album together. And while Big Boi has put out numerous solo efforts, some may wonder what the Atlanta duo has been doing recently.
Well, surprisingly, it’s owls. That’s right, “Hootie Hoo” has a whole new meaning now.
Via his social media, Sir Lucious Left Foot posted a video of him in the studio with his owl named Hootie.
The post had Twitter howling as well.
Big Boi’s love of owls isn’t particularly new. Back in 2019, he spoke with Rolling Stone about his owls Hoodini, Simon, Hootie and Tula. He described how little they fly during the interview.
“Once they perch, they’re there unless you’re gonna feed them or they see something run across the floor,” Big Boi said of his pets. “I can sit here and smoke 10 blunts and they won’t move. I don’t smoke around no birds.”
