The dancehall star's hit records really know how to keep a party going!

Sean Paul turns the big 5-0 today, Sunday, Jan. 8, and the dancehall artist always has a few party tracks that make it on everyone’s playlist! Paul won his first Grammy award for "Best Reggae Album" (Dutty Rock) back in 2003 and was also nominated for "Best New Artist" that same year.

To celebrate his milestone birthday, BET.com has put together a list of five of our top songs that you must play today to honor his big day!

  • “Give It Up To Me”

Released on his The Trinity album, “Give Up To Me” was re-edited to later feature Keyshia Cole on the track and released once more on the dance movie soundtrack in 2006 Step Up. The single hit No. 3 on the Billboard Top 10 chart at the time.

  • “Gimmie The Light”

As the lead single on Paul’s debut album, Dutty Rock, “Gimme The Light” set the stage for the Jamaican artist and became widely popular ahead of the albums official release.

  • “Temperature”

Spending 17 weeks on the Billboard Top 10, “Temperature” from his The Trinity album is undeniably his most popular hit and was the first track to sell over a million downloads, helping him earn multi-platinum success!

  • “Like Glue”

The intro to “Like Glue” might sound a little familiar because they were originally stripped from the intro to “Gimme The Light,” before Paul decided to dive deeper to expand the song.

  • "Get Busy"

The second single from Paul's debut Dutty Rock album, "Get Busy" was also chart topper spending three weeks at No.1 on the Billboard charts, from the energy to the chemistry in its accompanying video its clear why the song is on repeat.
