Bow Wow is reportedly going through some tough times right now.

According to TMZ, police were summoned to the Westside Cultural Center in Atlanta where he was recording Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta.

The 31-year-old, real name Shad Moss, reportedly created thousands of dollars in damages including the destruction of camera equipment.

As to what caused the outburst, production insiders say the Columbus, Ohio, native transitioned from calm to enraged. He also lashed out at those who attempted to calm him down.

The event was held for his fellow So So Def label mate Da Brat, whose probation recently ended. It isn’t clear if she had anything to do with his anger.

Earlier this week, Bow Wow posted a tweet he later deleted in which he said he was feeling “detached” and “in so much pain.” Recently, he’s experienced family problems, including a miscarriage.

“Don't really care,” he tweeted. “The media crucifies me. Im the most hated. Every girl i gave my heart to it failed. My dad is a alcoholic and is now sick. I lost my son this year! Im over everything. Mentally i feel detached im in so much pain bro.”

Yikes! Hopefully Bow Wow can get to a better space soon.
