Despite Going Platinum in a Week, Drake Is Back in the Studio

Drake was spotted out in NYC on Monday night, as he celebrated her first ever #1 single as a Leading Artist. Billboard announced the news, that his single, "One Dance" has gone from the #2 Spot to The Top of the Chart. Drake previously only has gotten as high as #2, and his only number 1's were as features on Rihanna's songs "Work" and "What's My Name" . Drake met up with Rapper French Montana at Buddakhan for dinner, before heading to a NYC Nightclub.

Despite Going Platinum in a Week, Drake Is Back in the Studio

Looks like his hustle hasn’t slowed down one bit.

Drake currently is experiencing a record high for his career, with no signs of slowing down.

With his album VIEWS dropping less than two weeks ago, he has since scored his first No. 1 single with “One Dance,” featuring Kyla and Wizkid, a No. 1 album, completely dominating the Billboard charts, AND smashing the one-week streaming record previously held by Justin Bieber. What a time to be alive.

One would think that given Drizzy’s recent successes, he would take some time off to enjoy it, but that isn't the case, at least not this time around.

Last night (May 10) footage surfaced of Drake getting in some studio time with French Montana, further proving that the rapper is already hungry again.

Check out the clips below to catch Drizzy and French waxing nostalgic on some good times they've shared in the past, such as people commenting that the two look alike.
