Cam'ron Refuses to Go to War With Jim Jones

Killa Cam always keeps it 100.

Naturally, Drake’s sold out Summer Sixteen tour has had people talking nonstop since it kicked off.

Most recently, during his run of performances at Madison Square Garden, the rapper surprised the crowd by bringing Cam’Ron and Juelz Santana out on stage. While the blessing from some members of The Diplomats made for a legendary moment, the absence of Jim Jones has been questioned ever since.

Killa Cam recently sat down with ThisIs50 to address the elephant in the room as to why Jim Jones was in the building but not on stage.

Cam, who always keeps it 100, went on to say you’d have to ask Drake about why it went down that way, because he has nothing to do with who is gracing the stage and who isn’t.

“It’s not my show,” he says, laughing. “It’s not Cam presents Drake. Juelz called me and said Drake called him and wanted us to come out to the show. It’s that simple.”

“I didn’t even speak to Drake but on the stage,” he continues.

The rapper also goes on to say he didn’t even know Jones was in the audience until after the fact. He then went on to share that, regardless of their issues, the two are family and he refuses to “go to war” with him because of that mutual respect for each other that’s there no matter what.

“At the end of the day, my personal thing with Jim is just like, every family got issues or whatever,” Cam adds. “My thing it’s not for everybody to know, and to me, it just puts a lot of things out publicly that can be solved with a phone call.”

Much respect to Killa Cam for this one. Check out his full conversation with DJ Thoro in the clip below.
