The president’s soundtrack includes the likes of Janelle MonáeLeon BridgesCommonNina SimoneD’Angelo, and has a little Jay ZJanet Jackson, Nas and Miles Davis thrown into the mix for good measure.

The playlist just might be one of the best collections of music you’ll listen to this summer, showcasing furthermore just how much he’s going to be missed when his final term serving as president comes to an end.

“Been waiting to drop this: summer playlist, the encore,” POTUS’s tweet announcing the playlist reads. “What’s everybody listening to?”

The best part of Obama’s curation? It’s divided up into two focuses, music for the daytime and for the nighttime, further showcasing the prez really knows how to pick a soundtrack for the proper occasion.
