Lil Yachty's Squad Agrees Drake Is Better Than Tupac And Biggie

Parents just don't understand.

Lil Yachty is becoming well-known both his music and for his bold statements alike. The rapper has often declared that paying homage to hip-hop’s most legendary artists, such as Tupac and Biggie, isn’t at the top of his priority list.

After admitting that he personally can’t name five songs from either artist combined, some of the Golden Era’s most die-hard fans have expressed their outrage that they are positive both iconic rappers are tossing in their graves.

Most recently, Lil Yachty’s squad decided to passionately hold a debate regarding who is a better artist, Drake or one of those guys from the '90s?

The answer, while not all that surprising, still is a bit infuriating to witness, especially if Lil Yachty and his friends are representatives of rap’s next generation and don't have an interest in preserving the history of the music they gravitate towards.

In the video clip capturing this heated debate, Lil Yachty’s friends declare that Drake, because he can sing and rap, is the better artist.

While the older folks in the room immediately disagree and explain their stances, noting that without Tupac or Biggie’s influence there may never have been a Drake in the first place, Lil Yachty’s crew isn’t too convinced or interested in hearing another history lesson.

Check out the some reasoning from both of the differing sides in the clip below.
