Humble: The Internet Is Fake Mad About the Car Kendrick Lamar Bought His Little Sister

Sit down.

Published June 5, 2017

Kendrick Lamar set 2017 ablaze with a rap return that gloriously blew up into his breakthrough, chart-topping, platinum-certified career milestone opus DAMN.

But K-Dot isn’t the only one in his family who had an incredible year now that his younger sister Kayla Duckworth graduated from high school. To commemorate her milestone, he gifted her with a brand new car that she posted to social media and showed honorable gratitude to her big bro for. Some people, however, felt the need to throw in their two cents on Kendrick Lamar’s rap star status after scrolling by the fresh new whip on their newsfeed. And in suitable response, the sensible side of the internet gave those same naysayers a prompt reminder of the Compton rap prophet’s most necessary testament yet: be humble.

  1. Kayla posted a pic of the brand new 2017 Toyota Camry to her Twitter account with a special thanks to K-Dot
  2. But the haters still found a way to cut around the congratulations to criticize the 18-year-old's new car
  3. Fittingly, they were cut a fat slice of humble pie by the rest of the internet
