Hip-Hop Reacts to the Passing of Mobb Deep's Prodigy

From his Queens home all the way to the West Coast, hip-hop will miss the Mobb Deep legend.

Hip-hop suffered a devastating blow on Tuesday (June 20) after the untimely death of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy.

With his cause of death currently reported as a fatal struggle with sickle cell anemia, Prodigy left behind a colossal rap legacy and huge shoes to fill as a member of one of the East Coast’s most famed hip-hop groups emerging from Queens. As fans send condolences, love and light to his family, the rest of hip-hop remembers the 42-year-old as a lauded New York rap legend inspiring several lyricists after him that will forever go down in history.
