About That J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar Album, It's "Probably Never" Coming Out

TDE's co-president delivered the ominous news.

Remember that J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar joint album that was reportedly created but never surfaced? Well, the album may be done, but we’re “probably” never going to hear any of it.

On Friday night (August 18), a Twitter user asked TDE co-president Terrence “Punch” Henderson if the project would ever drop. His answer was short but deflating if you were still anticipating the joint LP’s release.

“Probably never,” Punch replied to the question.

The K. Dot and Cole collabo album has been circulating for years. The last time each released music together was in 2015 when Cole took “Alright” and Kendrick took “A Tale of Two Citiez” for Black friday and each remixed the songs.

A year later, Ab-Soul confirmed that the album was real on The Breakfast Club, but didn’t go into further details about it.
