Many have asserted that Kaepernick has been left unemployed by the NFL because of his National Anthem protests, and not because of a lack of talent.
Cole used social media to express his beliefs that people should be boycotting the league until there is proof that Kaepernick is not being "denied a job unfraily as punishment" for his protests.

Every day they stay quiet on this they're saying that they condone what's happening to Kap and the message it sends.— J. Cole (@JColeNC) September 24, 2017
Kaepernick's protests were powerful when they began, but as President Trump continues to attack the NFL star and his fellow athletes, they have taken on a whole new importance.
