Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert’s marriage has been filled with twists, turns, and a whole bunch of drama. Somehow, Remy Ma seemed to end up in the middle of it all, but the rapper is now putting her foot down and declaring that she wants no parts.

Remy Ma has reportedly fired Herbert as her manager, TMZ confirms. According to reports, Remy felt like Herbert was spending way too much time working on his relationship with Tamar rather than focusing on building up her career.

While Herbert has often been referred to as a “super manager,” he reportedly dropped the ball with Remy and often came up short on promises he had previously made, TMZ reports. Apparently some of those promises, include failing to do basic managerial duties like booking studio time and scheduling live performances.

Herbert is probably biting his tongue after losing his deal with Remy – especially since the rapper is on top at the moment – but this will probably give him the time he needs to work through his family drama. As previously reported, Tamar filed for divorce against her estranged husband in Oct. 2017. Shortly after the documents were filed, rumors began swirling of spousal abuse at the hands of Herbert as well as an alleged affair with TV personality, Laura Govan. Herbert has denied all allegations however. The two are still hashing out their custody agreement over their son Logan.

So, with all of that going on, maybe it is better that Remy got out now.
