R. Kelly's 'Black Panther' Tweet Just Earned Him A Lifetime Ban From Wakanda

The internet is a dangerous place.

R&B OG R. Kelly doesn’t have to go home, but he’s welcome nowhere near Black Panther’s fruitful East African land of Wakanda as long as the internet has anything to say about it.

That it did on Thursday (February 22) when the Chocolate Factory crooner tweeted a photo of a flight to the fictional Marvel region. Kelly apparently was lucky enough to catch the big screen smash film since its February 16 premiere, taking his hat off to the cast and crew with “#WakandaForever” and “#BlackPanther” hashtags on the tweet.

But after mentioning that he wanted to hitch a trip to Wakanda, the internet is hilariously pumping his brakes. 

  1. Kelly jokingly made plans for a flight to Wakanda after tuning into the box-office smash hit
  2. Unfortunately, his travel plans set off the internet's Wakanda immigration officials, and they're going to need to see some I.D...
