Cardi B Finally Responds To Rumors Of Offset Fathering The Child Of An Instagram Model

She's going straight to the sources this time.

The perpetual baby mama saga between industry notorious Instagram model Celina Powell and hip-hop’s “it” couple Cardi B and Offset hit an unexpected plot twist this week when Powell posted what she calls proof that the Migos rap star is the father of her new baby.

Previously, the “Bodak Yellow” artist only slightly addressed the rumors without pointing any fingers or naming any names. This time, however, she’s sending a direct statement for everyone know, gossipy media included, to knock it off.

Among other publications, XXL picked up the story of Powell’s video showing alleged paperwork from DNA test results that name Offset as the father of her two-month-old daughter. The “Ric Flair Drip” rapper’s real name—Kiari Kendrell Cephus—is listed on the documents that she obnoxiously boasts into the camera.

When Bardi scrolled past the hip-hop outlet’s coverage of the story on her Twitter timeline, however, she had just one question.

“Why would ya post this knowing that sh** is wild fake,” she tweeted XXL.

Her commentary echoes that which she stated back in March when Powell first emerged the baby rumors.

“People are so miserable,” she tweeted. “They rather believe a lie just to talk about something…you will soon thoo.”

Considering that Cardi made the peculiar statement back in March, she was probably hinting at the now-announced pregnancy with her Atlanta-bred fiancé. Thankfully, the Invasion of Privacy rapper appears just as unbothered by Powell’s public reveals now as she was back then, too.
