Here's What Kanye West Has To Say About His Fallout With Jay-Z and Beyoncé

“I was hurt about them not coming to the wedding…”

After nearly a week’s worth of tweeting up controversy, Kanye West has switched from the keyboard to the camera in an exclusive tell-all interview with The Breakfast Club’s Charlamagne Tha God.

The nearly two-hour interview gathers practically ever controversy, loose end, and question that needs an answer surrounding Kanye since his late 2016 mental breakdown. Charlamagne holds nothing back in the lengthy conversation as the two toss back exchanges from controversies both new and old, including his disgraced bromance with White House tenant Donald Trump and ruptured relationship with longtime industry friend and New York hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z. The Roc Nation emperor addressed his brotherhood with ‘Ye in his own tell-all-style conversation with Rap Radar upon the release of his 4:44 opus. Charlamagne reiterated Hov’s sentiment that he felt Yeezy bringing their families into their personal conflict was a step too far, but Kanye believes it’s all about perspective.

“Well it depends on how you look at it,” he said. “If we’re family, if we’re brothers, and we are family. If we’re business associates, then it was too far.”

There was one move from the Carter family that affected him, however, irrespective of perspective.

“I gotta say I was hurt about them not coming to the wedding,” he revealed. “I understand they was going through some things, but if it’s family, you know, you’re not gonna miss a wedding.”

Kanye reassured that there was no ill will or intent to send negativity from his commentary, but his expression of his true feelings were necessary given the conversation. But, now that fans all over the internet have plucked a couple of hours out of their day to hear Yeezy’s side of things, they’re moving Charlamagne and Kanye to the top of the internet’s hot topic list.
