Yikes: Watch Drake Get Into A Heated Altercation With This Cleveland Cavaliers Player On The Court

"I never said that sh**!"

When the clock is ticking down during overtime in the final seconds of an NBA match up, it’s go hard or go home.

OVO Sound hip-hop star Drake did both on Tuesday night (May 1) when he got into a heated exchange with Cleveland Cavaliers baller Kendrick Perkins after the team’s 113-112 victory against Drizzy’s home NBA squad, the Toronto Raptors.

According to ESPN, the tension actually began brewing during the game’s halftime portion.

While occupying his usual courtside territory, Drizzy allegedly overheard Perkins trash-talking to his former teammate Serge Ibaka, who now plays center for Drizzy’s home team. Perkins reportedly told ESPN that he was “f**king with Serge, my old teammate” and teasing that “we about to win this game.” He said that Drake cut in on their conversation “talking sh**.”

Perkins didn’t hear exactly what he said, ESPN adds, but he knew it was something slick, and he responded to Drake with, “Sit you're a** down and watch the game.” This ignited a rather fiery reaction from the Young Money rapper, who is seen in a video of the incident’s aftermath visibly irritated as he speaks with the Cavaliers’ security team. He can be heard saying, “I never said that sh**,” to members of security who approached Drake’s bodyguard amid the situation.

The site adds that Drake allegedly yelled obscenities while exiting the Air Canada Centre court as well, walking through the tunnel and blurting them out toward the visiting team’s locker room where Perkins presumably was.

Nice for what, right Drizzy?
