Several sources have confirmed that Brooklyn native, Tekashi 6ix9ine— born Daniel Hernandez— has pled guilty to 9 federal counts including racketeering, conspiracy, weapon possession and drug trafficking. He will reportedly cooperate with federal officials from now on. Back in November, the Dummy Boy rapper was arrested and faced life in prison, if convicted. At the time, he was on probation from an October 2015 guilty plea, stemming from the use of a child in a sexual performance case and a misdemeanor assault from January of 2018. Prior to his arrest, he stated, "there’s only two things I fear in life. I fear God, and I fear the FBI."

Just a few days ago, it was reported that he was testifying against a known associate in the attempted shooting, involving Chief Keef, from last June. In terms of that video-related evidence, authorities stated, Hernandez "aided and abetted the shooting at rivals of Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods at a hotel in Times Square."

The rapper pled guilty last Saturday (Jan. 26), but the records were sealed until today (Feb. 1). According to federal documents, he was involved in dealing "heroin, fentanyl, ecstasy, amphetamines and marijuana." The documents also mentioned that 6ix9ine, along with associates (known and unknown) "knowingly" violated United States racketeering laws.

  1. The conspiracy-related charges mention various counts of murder, robbery and extortion.

As of now, he is facing a minimum of 47 years in prison, meaning he'll be 69 when he's released. 6ix9ine is reportedly due for sentencing on January 24, 2020 and is currently in custody in an undisclosed location.
