21 Savage's Alleged Birth Certificate Has Surfaced

It indicates that the rapper was born in east London.

Over the weeked, the heartbreaking and utterly surprisingly news about 21 Savage being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement shook the internet to its core as it was revealed that the arrest was part of a “targeted operation.” ICE spokesperson, Brian Cox claimed that the rapper, born Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was an “unlawfully present United Kingdom national.” Now, as many anxiously await more details, one vital piece of evidence has been unearthed— his birth certificate.

Famed U.K. based site, Daily Mail obtained the copy of the rapper's rumored birth certificate and fans believe there's already a couple discrepancies.

  • It lists the rapper's birth name as "Shéyaa Bin Abraham"

It also lists his parents as Kevin Emmons and Heather Joseph were both born in the outskirts of London, just like Shéyaa. However, several sources have stated that British doctor, Dr. Amsu Anpu has publicly called himself 21's father. So, it's possible the doctor could've changed his name. According to the site, his mother still has a strong British accent and the "Bank Account" emcee's twin sisters have reportedly deleted old tweets and photos of him growing up in the UK citing, "I don't want him to get deported."

The rapper arrived in Atlanta, his presumed hometown, in 2005, but his visa expired a year later. He was also prosecuted for a felony drug charges in 2014, but ICE, apparently, was unaware.

Cox stated 21 has been placed in "deportation proceedings" and the father of three is waiting for the final outcome from a federal immigration judge.
