T.I. and Tiny Show Support to Son Domani and Praise His New Music Video

The video reflects on the rapper’s life before the fame, and the impact Tip’s incarceration had on him.

Looks like the King of the South, T.I., is ready to pass down the rap crown through his lineage, and it’s now landing atop his son Domani Harris’s head.

Talent is undoubtedly part of the Harris family’s DNA as the recent high school graduate proved with his latest musical release: the official visual of his new single, "Time Will Tell."

  • Directed by Philly Fly Boy, the video is reportedly inspired by Domani's upbringing and touches heavily on life before his father's fame, including Tip's trips in and out of jail and how it impacted him growing up.

The Atlanta artist raps, “I remember watching ‘Family Matters’ on that TV channel. When they took my pops, protecting us, did my family matter?”

  • "Failure taught me everything I know, you seen the growth. Went from grandma's basement to nominations," the grad continues. "Because mama always told me to finish school because she never did, aight ma, now it's time to show the world your son got a gift."

The song is off Domani's 2019 project of the same name, and comes shortly after his "Game We Play," release, which debuted earlier this month.

T.I. and Tiny both took to their Instagram pages to congratulate Domani on his latest release.

  • Recently T.I. also took to Instagram to congratulate his son on his recent high school graduation. In an emotionally charged post, the Grand Hustle rapper praised his son for "beating the system," and managing to get a diploma, something he reveals he never got a chance to do.

“I’m proud of you for graduating @domaniharris1... But even more than that...I’m proud of you for finding a way to fight the constant urge to say “F’this School Sh*t” (like I did) & found a way to dig deep & do for your Moms & Pops what I was never able to do for mine .... walk across that stage, receive your diploma & successfully complete this phase of your education.”

Congrats to Domani on all his present and future endeavors!

Time Will Tell is out June 7.
